- Abstract
The article focuses on redesigning Master of Education Degree programs for principals in individually guided education (IGE) in the United States. The author asserts that the principal as the leader of the building level of IGE, must thoroughly understand IGE and its implications which poses the necessary need of a course on IGE and the role of the principal in its implementation. He declares that the role of the principal in IGE demands that he/she possess skills in community analysis, conflict management, problem solving and decision making.
