- Title
Antihypertension and Colorectal Cancer Prevention: Getting Two Birds With One Stone?
- Authors
Mingyang Song; Giovannucci, Edward L.
- Abstract
The authors discuss research on the association between angiotensin I-converting enzyme inhibitor/angiotensin receptor blocker (ACEI/ARB) therapy and the risk of colorectal cancer (CRC). They reference the study "Angiotensin-Converting Enzyme Inhibitor Therapy and Colorectal Cancer Risk" by G. A. Makar published in the current issue of the journal. They believe that more research needs to be done before recommending clinical use of ACEI/ARB for CRC chemoprevention.
