Chapter 13: Pauci-immune focal and segmental necrotizing glomerulonephritis.
- Abstract
The article offers recommendations for treatment of adults with pauci-immune focal and segmental necrotizing glomerulonephritis with or without systemic vasculitis, and with or without circulating antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibody (ANCA). Topics discussed include use of drugs cyclophosphamide and corticosteroids, rituximab and corticosteroids, and immunosuppressive therapy for relapses of ANCA vasculitis. It suggests transplantation for ANCA-positive patients with complete remission.
