- Abstract
This research investigates the impact of gender equality policies on STEM education and workforce participation in the Republic of North Macedonia. Despite global advancements, women remain underrepresented in STEM fields, leading to significant economic and social implications. This study examines current policies in the Republic of North Macedonia, their effectiveness, and contributing factors to gender equality in STEM. Utilizing theories such as socialization, social identity, and selfefficacy, the research explores systemic biases and suggests policy implications. The findings underscore the imperative for targeted interventions to address persistent gender disparities in STEM education and employment. Implementing these measures will enhance social well-being and drive economic advancement in the Republic of North Macedonia.
