- Abstract
Human trafficking constitutes a complex tiplogy within the criminal phenomenon in general, being considered as one of the modern forms of human slavery. Human trafficking is clearly distinguished for his international geography. Meanwhile, such a phenomenon is ascertained in growth in contries that are in the stage of transition, or otherwise known as contries in development. Every year, a large number of people become victims of human trafficking. Most victims identified of trafficking, result to be female, but does not exclude men and children. The typology of forms of trafficking is considered a high social risk. In case of trafficking is essential to be placed at the forefront the protection and respect for fundamental freedom and human rights. International community in different levels and organizations, has adopted a series of measures aimed at prevention of crime, protection of victims and orientation of sanctions in fulfillment of criminal policy. The methodology of war against it and its prevention, should include not only legal factors, but also state and non-state factors to undertake a series of measures and policies which in their essence have the protection and the treatment of trafficked persons, their compensation and measures to eliminate the factors or circumstances, that favor trafficking directly or indirectly.
