- Abstract
Managers can help motivate employees through various methods and help them grow within an organization. Employees can grow by means of communication, by taking on different roles, and by learning and understanding their role within a team. Constructive criticism and team dynamics emphasize the strengths and weaknesses teams can experience. Managers can link individual motivational methods to teams and use performance management to inform employees and teams of the highlights of their performance and the areas that could use improvement. They can learn the motivational drivers of employees and how to elicit responses from employees when they give feedback. In this way, managers can motivate employees to work together cohesively in teams to improve organizational success.
