- Abstract
The article provides information on the geographical distribution of the Anoura fistulata. It states that A. fistulata is one of the rarest phyllostomid nectarivorous bat species in Colombia. It presents three additional specimen records of A. fistulata, found within almost five degrees north latitude of the northernmost area where its known specie have been recorded. One of this species is a reproductively inactive female, collected in the Department of Risaralda and put in the Instituto de Ciencias Naturales (ICN). Moreover, the second specimen was found by Paul Salaman in the Serranía de los Churumbelos in Cauca while the third was collected by C. Fernández-Rodríguez in the Department of Nariño.
