- Abstract
The article offers updates on radiation treatment for cancer in the U.S. Research shows that 93% of prostate cancer patients treated with CyberKnife robotic radiosurgery system from Accuracy Inc. had no recurrence of prostate cancer five years after the treatment. Many women are opting out hormone therapy for menopause as it increases the risk of developing breast cancer and other serious illnesses. Another study reveals the use of brachytherapy to treat breast cancer.
