- Abstract
Turkey has been positioned over migratory routes from a historical perspective and is a state that has a rich accumulation in terms of welcoming internal/external migrants and evaluating these. (Ortaylı, 2015: 10-18) Therefore, all research that has been maintained in a manner of the application of research that has been transferred from the developed Western societies without coming to the attention of developed/ underdeveloped nations is bound to be poor in quality and meaning. In this notification, the contribution to the development of educational access services is targeted by indicating the truths that on one hand contradict the “dreams” of the state bureaucracy while on the other hand support the concrete steps of the state. In this article, the study will move into the results of the field research, which was do with qualitative analytical techniques. The research in question was carried out with a total of 19 individuals that constitute the children and their parents in 8 seasonal nomadic/semi-nomadic families that have spread throughout the East- Southeast Anatolia- Mediterranean- Marmara and Aegean regions of the country. The most striking truth that the participants, who expressed their opinions to the research carried out with in-depth interviewing methods, revealed are the differences in the way Turkish and Kurdish families of children approach the subject of the right of education. It does not overlooked that, from the responses that a significant portion of the Kurdish families who participated in the study provided, the economic value of children in units in which Kurds are focused has passed in front of psychological value and that the child was referred to in the form of “They will help overcome the financial troubles of the family in the medium- and long-term.”
