- Authors
Afonso, Gara; Santos, João; Traina, James
- Abstract
The article examines whether too-big-to-fail status gives large banks a competitive edge and incentives to engage in riskier activities in the U.S. It indicates that banks that received government support are more likely to engage in riskier lending activities.
