- Title
The mental health of looked-after children.
- Abstract
The article discusses the report "Mental Health and Well-Being of Looked-After Children" issued by the British House of Commons Education Committee. The report has warned that current methods of assessing the mental health and well-being of children and young people being looked-after were inconsistent in Great Britain. The committee recommended that looked-after children and young people should be given priority access to mental health assessments by specialist practitioners.
