- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 35-year-old woman with a three-day history of abdominal discomfort, vomiting and anuria for 2 days. It states that the patient developed renal infaction after talking combination of ethinylestradiol and drospirenone as a contraceptive for the previous 3 years. A renal biopsy showed coagulative necrosis of the cortex of the kidney and the artery included in the biopsy was obstructed by fibrin thrombus.
