- Abstract
The article examines the energy sector that emerges from the COVID-19 crisis. Topics discussed are world energy profile and how it was trending before 2020, impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the energy sector including shifts in allocation demand among major fuels, projected decline in oil demand as a result of fuel efficiency standards for automobiles and the pandemic, and projected decline in global coal demand with the rise in demand for renewable energy.
