- Abstract
A field experiment was conducted during Ambia bahar 2016 and 2017 to study the efficacy of insecticides against the pomegranate fruit borer Deudorix isocrates (F.). The results revealed that all the treatments were superior, with the least % fruit infestation on number basis being observed with spinosad 45SC @73 g a.i./ ha and chlorantraniliprole 18.5SC @30 g a.i./ ha. On weight basis too, the least of the % fruit infestation was observed with spinosad 45SC @ 73 g a.i./ ha followed by chlorantraniliprole 18.5SC @ 30 g a.i./ ha. The treatments with flubendiamide 39.35SC @ 48 g a.i./ ha were also effective and at par with each other.
