- Abstract
The article focuses on the argument regarding the teaching of science of origin and changes in creatures, the earth and the cosmos. The argument surrounds the basic issue of teaching origin of life as known by the scientists or it would also incorporate religious teachings. As mentioned in the procedure of teaching the science of the origin the supernatural approach to it is not accepted by the scientists. The reason behind the denial being that science is concerned with nature and something beyond it is not accepted by the scientists. On the contrary it states that the religious creationists do not give importance to this but stress on the statements in the Genesis and the story of Noah and his flood. It also mentions about the public's understanding of science and the goals of education.
