- Authors
CARLSON, JULIE CAMPBELL
- Abstract
The article discusses how playing the rock-paper-scissors (RPS) game demonstrates strategies in conflict situations. It references the article "Scissors Cut Paper: Purposive and Contingent Strategies in a Conflict Situation" by a group of Baylor University faculty led by Christopher Meyer and Blaine McCormick which was published in the 2012 Volume 23, Number 4 issue of "Journal of Conflict Management." It talks about two specific strategy mindsets, the purposive and contingent.
