- Abstract
This article presents a study on anatomical variations that can affect the success of cryotherapy for chronic rhinitis. The study found that a large percentage of cases had an unfavorable insertion of the middle turbinate, which may contribute to treatment failure. The authors recommend considering factors such as middle turbinate insertion and patient symptoms when planning the procedure. The study also provides guidelines for accurately targeting the sphenopalatine foramen during cryotherapy. However, more research is needed to validate these findings.
