- Abstract
The article presents the case of a 47-year-old female who was rushed to a clinic due to urticaria-like rash on both forearms, abdomen and thighs to discuss the possible pathomechanism of generalized acquired cutis laxa linked to IgA-lamda monoclonal gammopathy of undetermined significance (MGUS). The patient developed severe emphysema. Also mentioned are neutrophil extracellular traps (NET) and the patient's treatment with diaminodiphenyl sulfone (dapsone).
