- Abstract
The article discusses a study by doctor C. Monica Capra and colleagues from the School of Medicine at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia on the risky decision making of adolescents which often results to negative outcome. An assessment of the risky behaviors of girls and boys from 12-18 years old using Adolescent Risk Questionnaire (ARQ) is conducted. Capra and colleagues state that the findings of their study contest the thought that risk taker adolescent shows immature cortex.
