- Abstract
The article offers information on the research projects by the National Textile Center (NTC) categorized into four competency areas, namely material science, fabrication, chemical modification, and intelligent systems. The projects deal with various aspects of textiles ranging from polymer science to apparel marketing. The chemical modification projects concern research in dyeing, finishing, and waste reduction in textile processes. Synopsis of the work being conducted in some of the projects is presented, including digital printing, simultaneous dyeing and finishing, and moisture transport in textiles.
