- Abstract
A simple strategy to 3‐acylated quinoxalin‐2(1H)‐ones via a photo‐induced cross‐dehydrogenative coupling of quinoxalin‐2(1H)‐ones with commercially available aldehyde under metal free conditions without an external photocatalyst was developed. In this transformation, various 3‐acylated quinoxalin‐2(1H)‐ones were generated in high yields with good functional‐group tolerance.
