- Abstract
In this article the author discusses the method on how to improve surgical outcomes and decrease wrong-site surgery. The author mentions the use of permanent skin marker to correctly distinguish the right surgical site, which is often underutilized and unappreciated method. The author states that surgical disasters may be avoided if several fundamentals are remembered. The author also says that henna can be used in surgical site marking, which is easily available and inexpensive.
