- Abstract
The article analyses musical elements in an Italian Trecento painting of the coronation of the virgin which depicts the crowning of Mary, the mother of Jesus Christ. The article also discusses Italian paintings, including the painting "Giotto di Bondone", other paintings from 11th to 14th century. Additional topics depicted include tympanums of the cathedrals of Avila, Spain, angels in murals, and presents several images of paintings of this era.
