- Abstract
The article examine ways for educators to develop an instructional approach for students to improve their modeling writing and critical thinking skills. It is stated that need to improve their sentence forming skills by organizing and present their ideas sequentially, using logically connected details within a paragraph and critically analyze the causes and possible solutions to problems and issues students read. A way to enhance the conceptual development of students is to improve the students' prior linguistic and experiential knowledge.
