- Abstract
An essay is presented on the letters created by British art historian Horace Walpole. It states that being devoted with the remarks of people he conversed with has led him to be the greatest letter writer. The author mentions some of the letters written by Walpole and briefly explains the meaning of the phrases mentioned inside each letter. Walpole believes that it is more easy to talk to young people, especially those who specializes faux pas, than to write a letter for them.
