- Abstract
The article discusses a study that was conducted to determine whether the composition of apatite, a phosphate minerals in granitic rock associated with ore deposit can represent the petrogenesis and mineralization types to indicate the metallogeny and tectonic evolution in southeast Hunan province, China. Topics discussed include chlorine and fluorine content of apatites, role of hydrothermal recycling in providing sufficient chlorine and europium and cerium anomaly of the apatite.
