- Abstract
The article focuses on an outbreak of Marek's diseases in the mining area of Karnataka, India affecting many vaccinated commercial layer flocks. A study was conducted to record flock details, clinical history and signs, and morbidity as well as mortality, egg production, and details of vaccinations. It concludes that balanced nutrition, with appropriate level of micronutrients, is vital to achieve good health, immunity, and optimum egg production.
