- Authors
Bright, A.; Joret, A. D.
- Abstract
The article focuses on the study which investigates whether there was a difference between the two important egg production traits such as packing station egg seconds and mortality in matched free-ranged laying flocks without or with tree cover on the range. It says that the egg seconds which are due to poor shell quality are significant cost to the egg industry, while mortality represents significant cost to producers. Moreover, it discusses factors influencing egg production.
