The article presents a case study of a 49-year-old male with end-stage renal disease. He was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. He returned to the U.S. following a repeat renal transplant in the Philippines that had failed after surgery. Further it suggests that prompt visual recognition is essential in order to avoid inadvertent manipulation, which may result in catastrophic bleeding.
