- Abstract
The article discusses the role that the American government's legislative branch plays in negotiations with foreign terrorist organizations (FTOs) as of 2015, and it mentions the U.S. Congress' powers, America's Constitution, and the potential amending of the country's material support to FTOs statute. The U.S. Case-Zablocki Act of 1972 is addressed, along with various problems that arise when dealing with American foreign relations and a politics-related checks and balances doctrine.
