Title
Soft-tissue case 60.
Abstract
The article presents the case of a 76-year-old man with anemia of unclear cause. The patient suffers from diffuse abdominal pain. The radiologic diagnosis reveals that the patient has paraduodenal (or mesocolic) hernias which is characterized by abnormal rotation of the gut and failure of the mesocolon to fuse with the parietal peritoneum during embryonic development. It is determined that surgery appears to be the only viable therapy.
