- Abstract
The article discusses the study that investigates the antimicrobial peptides' effects on Sema3A expression in epidermal keratinocytes and the involvement of signaling pathways in LL-37-induced Sema3A expression. The effects of phosphatidylinositol 3 kinase inhibitors and mitogen-activated protein kinase were assessed. Findings of the study highlight the significance of LL-37 in keeping the production of Sema3A in keratinocytes.
