- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 26-year-old professional oboist who was presented with a complaint of painful bilateral cervical swelling appearing only when he was blowing his instrument. Neck examination showed bilateral soft and compressible cervical protrusions above the thyroid cartilage. The article indicates the importance of bilateral pharyngocele surgery under local anesthesia.
