- Abstract
The article focuses on a study which showed the intelligibility outcomes of a speech systems intervention for adolescents with moderate or severe dysarthria secondary to cerebral palsy (CP). The results indicate that intelligibility for every individual improved from zero to greater than 50%. Using the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) framework of the World Health Organization to increase understanding of the study outcomes and to suggest research directions is recommended.
