- Abstract
The article focuses on the role of the education federalism that influences the effectiveness of the school desegregation under the U.S. No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB) of 2001. It analyzes the status of current school finance litigation to interpret the cost of education federalism. It highlights the decision of the U.S. Supreme Court in Brown v. Board of Education (Brown I) for promotion of reforms to advance equal educational opportunity under the Equal Protection Clause.
