- Abstract
The article presents the case of 32-year-old man who sought medical attention for fever and malaise. The patient stated that he had visited Uganda and admitted that he had not taken any malaria prophylaxis. After several confirmatory examinations, the patient was then diagnosed to have tuberculosis associated with pleural effusion. Treatment included isoniazid, rifampicin, pyrazinamide, and ethambutol without incident.
