- Abstract
The article focuses on the ultimate purpose and fundamental essence of architecture in man's wellbeing and animate perceptions. It states that architecture produces buildings which serve as shelters for man, and improve the ability of a human body to adapt to his environment. It mentions that architectural buildings develops environmental technologies including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) to give comfort to and act as an environmental mediator for human. It also notes that the HVAC systems reduce energy costs and increase interior variability.
