- Abstract
The article examines the World Trade Organization from the perspectives of the developing states and uses this analysis to demonstrate that the formulation and operation of the international trade regime has been captured by the proponents of neoclassical economic theory. The author believed that rich and powerful states are forced to implement trade strategies and domestic laws formulated by others based on international perspectives and neoclassical or neoliberal ideology.
