- Abstract
This letter is a response to a study on the efficacy of darvadstrocel in treating perianal fistulizing Crohn's disease. The authors of the letter raise two points of concern. Firstly, they highlight the need to study the interaction between darvadstrocel and anti-TNF therapy, as both treatments target similar pathways. Secondly, they question the use of external manual compression as a measure of treatment success, suggesting that it may overestimate healing rates and increase recurrence rates. The authors emphasize the importance of evaluating treatment methods and improving instruments for evaluating fistula healing in perianal Crohn's disease.
