- Abstract
The article focuses on the diagnostic and therapeutic dilemma with regards to nodal marginal zone-B cell lymphoma (NMZL). It notes that NMZL is a primary nodal B-cell lymphoma that shares genetic, morphologic and immunophenotypic characteristics with extranodal marginal zone lymphoma (MZL) and splenic MZL. Furthermore, the importance of genomic and proteomic approaches on the identification of candidate markers specific to the diagnosis is also highlighted.
