Dialogic Frontiers: History and Psychology in Lonesome Dove and Blood Meridian.
- Authors
WILLBERN, DAVID
- Abstract
The article examines the concept of the geographical and psychological frontier. It looks at two American novels, "Lonesome Dove" by author Larry McMurtry, and "Blood Meridian" by author Cormac McCarthy. The author compares and contrasts these novels to show that they tackle the same theme, the frontier, but come at it from very different angles.
