- Abstract
This article focuses on a Convention sponsored by the Western Speech Association that was held during November 23-25, 1961 in Fresno, California. On November 23, Theodore O.H. Karl of Pacific Lutheran University, addressed the convention. There was a public address on the theme "Rhetorical Humor." Participants included Arthur Hastings and Scott Nobles of the University of Oregon. There was a session on "The Clinical Training Program in Speech Pathology and Audiology" that was presided over by Robert Albright of Arizona State College.
