- Abstract
The article offers information on the Obstetrical hemorrhage which is more likely to produce exacerbation of systemic conditions than hemorrhage in general surgery and is often being complicated by obstetrical disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC). It mentions that treatment with fluid and a red blood cell transfusion leads to a dilutional decrease in coagulation factors and exacerbates hemorrhagic diathesis associated with DIC. It states that need for focusing on abnormal vital signs.
