- Authors

- Abstract
The author reflects on the effectiveness of serological testing in high-risk group of gastric cancer patients before endoscopy can reduce related deaths. He recognizes a study conducted in Japan that compares the mortality rates in gastric cancer through endoscopic screening and X-ray examination. However, the author asserts that there was no satisfactory evidence that links death rate of gastric cancer to the use of such serological tests.
