Lightweight Design of Cargo Box of Articulated Vehicle Based on Finite Element Analysis.
- Abstract
Lightweight vehicles have become the main development trend of mining dumpers, and lightweight cargo boxes are especially important. With finite element analysis as the research basis, the lightweight design of cargo boxes of articulated vehicles is discussed. The basic structure and working principle of the cargo box are briefly described, and the stress and displacement of the cargo box under four typical working conditions are simulated and calculated through computer-aided design. Based on the results of the simulation analysis, local optimization of the cargo box is carried out to obtain a lightweight design scheme for the cargo box of the articulated vehicle.
