- Abstract
Based on flexible ultrasonic phased array non-destructive testing technology, a simulation model of flexible ultrasonic phased array for hearing rings is established by using time delay rule and single-layer convex delay focusing principle. The propagation characteristics of deflection and focusing of acoustic wave inside rings are revealed by analyzing the different types of defects inside rings. The simulation results of ultrasonic A signal echoes show that the defects at different positions inside rings can be detected by controlling the focusing depth and deflection angle of acoustic beam of flexible ultrasonic phased array, the types of defects can be determined according to difference between ultrasonic A signal echoes of different types of defects, and the detection accuracy of defects can be improved by changing the element parameters of transducer array.
