- Abstract
An analysis of the situation of the public green and sports areas present in the city of fortín de las flores, veracruz is presented. the objective was to analyze the state of the city's green areas, in relation to quantity, distribution and access, to contrast it with respect to standards of who and sedesol. it was carried out, a) classification of the present public green areas and determination of their spatial location, and surfaces, b) determination of the population distribution based on density, and the location of green areas in the urban area and see your possible match; c) determination of the provision of green area per inhabitant, and d) calculation of the distances necessary to access them. data from agebs, 2010 census, vector files of urban blocks, gis and field verification were used. a total area of green area of 65,429.70 m2 was found, for a population of 35,609 inhabitants, which resulted in an endowment of 2.13 m2 of green area per inhabitant, well below what the who recommends. high heterogeneity was found in spatial distribution, and in surface. the location of the urban green does not coincide for the most part with the location of areas with high population densities. the distances from each point of the city to its closest green area, averaged 411.11 m, also with high variability.
