- Abstract
The article focuses on adoption of population-based genetic testing approaches for prevention of risks regarding ovarian cancer. Topics discussed include penetration of the BRCA genes along with Lynch syndrome depicts risk of ovarian cancer; analysis of population-based genome wide studies over risks related to single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs); and consideration of bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy (BSO) as an effective approach for treatment of women with lower risk.
