- Abstract
Since the managerial practices in the organization significantly affect the attitudes and work outcomes of the employees, a strong sense of trust to be established between the employee and the organization also contributes to the successful achievement of the organization by ensuring the continuity of the employee in the organization. The purpose of this study is to reveal the relationship between the perception of organizational trust and job performance of the port staff and whether there is a mediated role in job satisfaction and organizational commitment in this relationship. For the purpose of the study, data were collected from the 260 employees of the port operators operating in the Marmara Region using a survey technique. According to the results of the analysis made using SPSS 22 (Process macro v3.4) and AMOS 22 programs, it has been revealed that the perception of the organizational trust of the port employees has a positive effect on the business performances and the change in the business performance alone explains about 11%.
