- Abstract
The article presents U.S. legal cases and developments in marketing relative to the regulation of product characteristics. In reference to credit terms and conditions of sale the Jacri, Inc. et al. v. Caswell-Massey Co., Ltd., et al. and the Parkway Gallery Furniture, Inc., and Rose Furniture Co. v. Kittinger/Pennsylvania House Group, Inc., dba Pennsylvania House cases are cited. The former case dealt with the legality of franchise contracts. The latter case involved the question of conspiracy in restraint of trade.
